Donald Kronemann Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Kronemann of Cloquet, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Kronemann to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Kronemann (Haarstick) and Maximillian Carl Albert Kronemann Jr.; his family Maxwell; his wife Helen; his sister Shirley Eckley; and his grandson Maxwell B. Buchanan.
He is survived by: his uncle Kenny; his aunt Mary Ann; his family, Liliana, Sean and Charlotte; his daughters, Nancy Buchanan (Burke) and Sara Kronemann-Sysko (Kenneth) of South Korea; and his grandchildren, Liliana Buchanan, Sean Sysko and Charlotte Buchanan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1000 Washington Ave, Cloquet, MN 55720). In his later years, Don walked two miles daily around Cloquet, connecting with others despite the isolation he faced post-COVID.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes tax deductible donations to the Max Buchanan Foundation 501 (c) 3, where gifts and scholarships will be awarded in Don Kronemann's honor.
