Daniel Paul Almquist Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Paul Almquist (Cloquet, Minnesota), who passed away on May 11, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Almquist and Elsie Almquist; his wife Maxine; his brother Rev. Earl; his sister-in-law Marlene; his siblings, Rev. George and Elizabeth; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Negley and Harold Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Danni Le Stephens (Mort) of Platteville, WI and Scott Almquist (Michele) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Brian Stephens (Rachel), Matt Stephens (Sheila), Senja Hines (Jordan), Alec Stephens (Allison), Mackenzie, Madison and Ryan Almquist; his great grandchildren, Soloman, Silas, Avery Hines, Tali Stephens and Isabelle Stephens; his brother Robert (Sandra) of Barnum, MN; and his sister-in-law Mavis Schmidt of Fairhope, AL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
These church families all held a special place in Dan's heart and he missed them all greatly during the pandemic and especially during the final days of his illness.
