She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Kotiranta and Jennie Kotiranta (Berkio); her former husband Andrew Korkala; her husband Bob Tefft; her brothers, Allen and Ervin Kotiranta; and also Millie Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Korkala (Barb), Kathy McMullen, Mitchell Korkala, Warren Korkala (Marsha) and Kimberly Korkala-Paulson; and her grandchildren, Wendy Hamilton (Patrick), Jake Korkala, Christopher McMullen, Danielle Moen (Eric), Alise Novak (Jake) and Andrew Clark (Ramina). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Landing Church (9302 W Skyline Pkwy, Duluth, MN 55810). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
