He was predeceased by: his parents, Arne Manisto and Hilda Manisto (Forstie); his brothers, John (Betty) and James; and his sister-in-law Patsy.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Carlson; his sons, Scott (Teri), Todd (Julie) and Shawn (Shelly); his grandchildren, Kyle, Jake, Derek, Trevor and Bailey; his niece Cassandra Quinn (James); and his brother Ray.
