He was predeceased by: his siblings, Martha, Irene, Esther and Paul. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle; his children, Gail Brecht (Blaine) of Baxter, MN, Judy Miner (John) of Duluth, MN and Dean Wirtanen (Karen) of Eau Claire, WI; and his siblings, Helen Wisneski (Sherman) of Cloquet and Donnie Atkinson of Florence, SC. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
