We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2022, at the age of 65, Thomas Verhelst of Clitherall, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucian Verhelst and Irene Verhelst (Lootens) of Canby; his children-in-law, Wes and Gabe; his wife Karen Zell-Verhelst of Battle Lake; his daughters, Nicole Krohn (Weston) of Brainerd and Jessie Nelson (Gabe) of Kahuku, HI; his grandsons, Henry Finnegan "Finn" Nelson and Jack Sespe Nelson; his former wife Pam Phillips of Fergus Falls; and his siblings, Karen Miller (John) of Porter, Connie Johnson (Francis) of Brentwood, CA, Mark Verhelst (Lois) of Canby and Scott Verhelst of Canby.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Fergus Falls Habitat for Humanity or donor's choice.
