She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Christianson (Ruth) and Audrey Christianson (Salveson); her brother-in-law Chuck Millard; her parents-in-law, Alton and Norma Thune; her siblings-in-law, Kathy Thune and Stewart Smith; her uncle Palmer; and her aunt Bernice Bjornrud.
She is survived by: her husband Barry W. Thune; her children, Karielle (Francis Borts), Dawn (James Simpkins) and Justin Thune of Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Kenlie Nelson, Kasen Thune, Faith, Kamden, Hope Borts and Jaxson Simpkins; her siblings, Pat Christianson of St. Paul, MN, Lon Christianson (Nancy) of Chapel Hill, NC, Mark Christianson (Loni) of Fargo, ND, Heidi McJunkins of Columbus, OH, Kim Wagner (David) of Bellingham, WA, Annette Hegg (Richard) of Crookston, MN, Dennis Thune of Prescott, AZ, Janet Sorenson (Dale) of Fisher, MN and UnaRae Smith of Ramsey, MN; and her brother-in-law Perry Bjornrud (Nancy) of Champlin, MN.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral & Cremation Service (615 S Minnesota St, Crookston, MN 56716). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sand Hill Lutheran Church (34145 MN-220, Climax, MN 56523).
