He was predeceased by: his parents, Orris Theodore and Sophronia Grove (Morgan); his sister Joan Clemenson; and his former wives, Brenda and Donna.
He is survived by: his children, Gay Lynn McCollum (Rick Hoff) of Bemidji, MN, Shane William Grove (Tania) of Foley, MN, James Orris Grove Jr. of Hooper, NE, Tony Ray Grove (Joy) of Mims, FL and Terry Lea Grove of Crookston, MN; his grandchild Zechariah McCollum (Marilyn); his children, Arelli, Stella, Fynnegan, Ryan McCollum (Paige Anderson), Miranda Smith (Eli) and Aughtom Holmgren (Andrew); his grandchildren, Mya, Colton, Carson, Christine Grove and Abigail Grove; and his siblings, Gail Hasbrouck (Robert) of Crookston, Eunice Anderson (Darryl) of Mandan, ND, Harlow Grove (Peggy) of Climax, MN and Deborah Normandin (Richard "Red") of Crookston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
