He was predeceased by: his parents, Ortwin Roemhildt and Mary Roemhildt (Wendt); his siblings, Arnola Studnicka of Kasota, Ruth Davis of Cleveland, Raymond Roemhildt of Elysian, Clare Roemhildt of Cleveland, Harold Roemhildt of Elysian, Alfred Roemhildt of Le Sueur and Gordon Roemhildt of Le Center; his siblings-in-law, Elaine Roemhildt, Ervin Davis, Willis Ely, Arnold Moldenhauer and Frank Studnicka; his nephew Terry Moldenhauer; his niece Caroline Niesen; his great-nephew Matthew Helling; and his great-niece Sheri Lynn Davis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jane Moldenhauer (Arnold) of Le Sueur, Caroline Krueger (Galen) of Le Center, Ardis Ely Cleveland (Willis) and Orville Roemhildt of Cleveland; and his sister-in-law Carol Roemhildt (Gordon) of Le Center. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews.
