He was predeceased by: his parents, David T. Wendelschafer and Aldean M. Wendelschafer (Meyers). He is survived by: his wife Kay G. Kranz; his children, Adam Wendelschafer (Sue) of New Richmond, WI and Alissa Brody (Chris) of Louisville, KY; his grandsons, Elijah and Samuel Brody; his sisters, Jean Seely of Cleveland and Gwen Crabb (Ken) of Woodbury; his siblings-in-law, Kristine (Jim) of Friendswood, TX, Cara Kranz of Chicago, IL and John Kranz (Valerie) of Amboy; and his pet Mack. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (305 6th St, Cleveland, MN 56017). A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given in David's honor to Our Savior's Lutheran Cleveland or the American Cancer Society.
