He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Treml and Louise Treml (Guetter); his in-laws, Roman and Mathilda Saffert; his sister Monica Frana; and his nephew Monty Frana.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Treml; his children, Lisa Fitzmorris (Jeff), Brenda Treml (Andreas), Sara McNutt (Bob), Jeff Treml (Dana), Dale Treml and Laura DeBlieck (Neil); his grandchildren, Lillian DeBlieck, Ryan Treml, Dalton DeBlieck, Violetta Treml-Savas, Bobby McNutt, Joey Treml and Coleman McNutt; his siblings, Dennis Treml (Barb), Elaine Williams (Arlan) and Mary Ann Klehr (Tom); his brother-in-law Marc Frana; and also, Ken Saffert (Jeannie) and Ron Saffert (Barb). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
