He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sawvell and Doris Sawvell (Dodge); his sister Olive (Elmer Roadfeldt); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Fox and Jerry Allenspach.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Dahmes; and his nieces and nephews, Judy Dolan (Dennis), Pam Wilkens (Danny), Richard Roadfeldt (Ronda), Steven Yungerberg (Linda), Lynn Kitzrow, Randall Yungerberg (Jill), Kevin Allenspach (Danell) and Kurt Allenspach (Kristie).
