He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Sherva and Lillian Sherva (Kappadahl); his brother Gerald Sherva; and his nephew David Bonk. He is survived by: his sisters, Lorraine Sherva of Buffalo, Mavis Bonk (Byron) of Gaylord and Linda Schaefer (Tom) of Buffalo; and his nieces and nephews, Roger Bonk, Doug Bonk (Connie), Julie Haegele (Kent), Jeff Schaefer (Janet), Pamala Berning (Brian), Amy Gatz (Brian), Marlin Sherva, Nancy Sherva and Bonnie Heidtke (Matt). He is also survived by many great nieces, great nephews and friends.
