With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine E. Niesche of Clearwater, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Tollefson and Emma Tollefson (Burgess); her husband Donald Niesche; her grandson Jeremy; and her great grandchild Ryan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Niesche of Blaine, Debra Freeh (Bob) of Zimmerman and Sandra Borchert of Clearwater; her grandchildren, Kristin (Andrew), Christopher (Marilynn), Jonathon (Elisabeth), Adam (Kari) and Brianna (Nathan); her siblings, Jerome Tollefson (Lois), Elly McMahon (Tom) of Eau Claire, WI and Robert Tollefson (Kathi) of Eau Claire, WI; and her sister-in-law Dolly Tollefson of Whitehall, WI. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rejoice Lutheran Church (1155 County Rd 75 NW, Clearwater, MN 55320). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
