We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2018, at the age of 90, Beverly J. Hest (Clearbrook, Minnesota), born in Moorhead, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Hest; her son Peter Hest; her siblings, Donna Tehven, Patricia Iwen (Jim), Bud Tehven (Hermoine), Marvin Tehven (Jane) and Lowell Tehven (Ilene); her sister-in-law Darlene Tehven; her niece Nancy Hest; and her nephew Jeffrey Iwen.
She is survived by: her parents, Wendell Tehven and Gina Tehven; her great grandchildren, Hanako Koi and Izumi Koi of London, UK; her siblings, Jon Tehven (Gloria), Donald Tehven (Mary) and Marjeanne Tehven (Duluth); and her siblings-in-law, Jim Iwen of Hannaford, ND, Jane Tehven of Enid, OK, Hermoine Tehven (Fargo) and Ilene Tehven (Fargo). She is also survived by her children and their partners, Bob Hest and Cookie Coleman (Minneapolis); David Hest and Catherine Lexau (St. Paul); Margaret Hest and Richard Petersen (Minneapolis); Mary and Minoru Koi (Saline, MI); and Rachel Hest and Brian Van Stavern (Minneapolis); four grandchildren.
She lived in senior housing in St. Paul until Alzheimer's disease dictated that she move to a memory care home in Eagan.
