He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Koren and Anna Koren (Tatschel); and his son-in-law Mark Schrader. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Backus; and his children, Daniel (Linda) of Becker, Ronald (Dorothy) of Clear Lake, Patrick (Deborah) of Plymouth, Melodie Miller (William) of Champlin and Wendy Goenner (Keith) of Clear Lake. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; and thirty-two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
