He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Monster; his grandson Jonathan Gabbard; and his brothers, Ernest Gabbard and Edward Gabbard. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Gabbard (Jo) of Prior Lake, MN, Brian Gabbard (Teresa) of Matthews, NC and Chris Gabbard (Jennifer) of Lakeville, MN; his grandchildren, Matthew Gabbard (Darian), Andrew Gabbard (Makayla Tuomi), Benjamin Gabbard, Michael Gabbard, Kirsten Gabbard, Jacob Gabbard, Jeremy Gabbard, Joseph Gabbard and Hanna Gabbard; and his great grandchild Julian Gabbard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or The American Cancer Society.
