He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debra Salthe (Kath); his adoptive parents, William Salthe and Alma Salthe (Strehlow); his sons, Keith Salthe (Cheri) of Roundup, MT and Chad Schaper (Sarah) of Albert Lea; his grandchildren, Trevor Salthe (Taylor), Dalton Salthe, Tristen Salthe (Sydney), Autumn Herplinck, Dylan Herplinck, Kaylee Herplinck and Gloriana Schaper; his great grandchild Leland; his sister Gloria Salthe of Brainerd; his parents, William Salthe and Alma Salthe; and his former wife Marilyn Salthe (Krowiorz). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
