She was predeceased by: her mother Clarice Velde (Gustad); her sister Roxane; and her in-laws, Jennie and Alfred Peterson. She is survived by: her father John Velde of Montevideo; her husband Jim of Starbuck; her siblings, Kathleen Kittelson (Sheldon) of Clarkfield, MN, LeAnn Velde of Lino Lakes, MN, Judy Weiss (Mike) of Bloomington, MN and Dean Velde of San Diego, CA; her nieces and nephews, Andrea Nedry (Adam), Kevin, Andrew Kittelson, Meagan Mareck (Allen), Lauren Erickson (Jake), Ryan Weiss (Miranda) and Jack Weiss (Tatum); her great-nephew Jakob Nedry; and her great-nieces, Mikayla Nedry, Jessa Mareck and Evelyn Mareck.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calendar Clarkfield Lutheran Church (1000 15th Ave, Clarkfield, MN 56223).
