He is survived by: his wife Joyce Thompson; his sons, Scott and Don Winson (Brenda); his grandchildren, Eric, Justin (Alaina), Jarrid, Kirby Winson, Christina Lemke (Bob), Amber, Conrad Thompson, Delsie and Delicia Lynne; his great grandchildren, Soren Winson, Carlie Eliason, Aubrey Gilb, Tasha Niskanen, Gage and Makaylee Haraldson; his nephews, Mickey, Pat (Joyce) and Kenny McCoy; his niece Christine Winson; and also Chris Thompson (Marsha).
