It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Johnson of Clarkfield, Minnesota, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Pieper and Lena Pieper; her husband Gene S. Johnson; and her siblings, Gerald, Luverne, Doris and Lorraine.
She is survived by: her children, Bradley Johnson (Susan) of Clarkfield, MN, Steven Johnson (Bonnie Schaumburg) of Spring Park, MN, Brenda Moe (Paul) of Alexandria, MN and Kristin Boike (Lyle) of Montevideo, MN.; her grandchildren, David Johnson, Darrin Johnson (Kelly), Brent Johnson, James Moe (Elisha Sorenson), Lisa Bitzan (Rodney), Amanda Boike (Peter Bockhaus), Ryan Boike (Kayla) and Rachel Johnson; her great grandchildren, Alexis, McKenna, Devan, Ava, Skylar, Kolby, Macsen, Conner, Kash, Arianna, Everett, Rowan and Maeve; her brother Harlan Pieper (Alberta); her sister-in-law Orda Reitan; and her cousin Eleanor Sandquist.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Clarkfield Lutheran Church quilt group or the Clarkfield Ambulance Service.
