He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sr. Dean and Hazel Dean (Fischer); his parents-in-law, Earl and Eileen "Tiny" Rogers; his brother Daniel Dean; his siblings-in-law, Ken Meyer, Edsel Batke, Jack Bockman, Mark Wheeler, Jolynn Leech (Rod) and Donald Rogers; his granddaughter Carli Caslin; his grandson-in-law Jon Christiansen; and his niece Abby Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Erlynn Rogers; his children, Melissa "Missy" Caslin (Guy), Dallas Dean (Sherry), Darin Dean (Andrea) and Kristi Anderson (Jerry); his grandchildren, Brittany Christiansen, Austin Caslin, Devin Dean, Hunter Dean, Cheyenne Dean, Lezah Dean, Rochelle Dean and Piper Dean; his stepgrandchildren, Courtney Bruyere (Dennis), Megan Wessels and Jonathan Wessels; his great grandchild Colton Christiansen; his stepgreat-grandchild Jameson Bruyere; and his siblings, Barbara Batke, David Dean Jr. (Linda), JoAnn Meyer, Ellen Bockman and Danette Wheeler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Karvonen Funeral Home ~ Wadena (419 2nd St NE, Wadena, MN 56482). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
