He was predeceased by: his parents, Halvor Oftedahl and Lydia Oftedahl (Anderson); his siblings, Halvor, Kenneth, Duane, Diane and Pearl; and his siblings-in-law, Eugene, Robert and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Young; his daughters, Beverly (Wayne) and Connie Nelson (Mark); his sister Karen Beach (Dennis); and his sister-in-law Evelyn Oftedahl. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
