He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Sweep and Margaret Sweep (Aalfs); and his parents-in-law, Earle and Amanda McNeil. He is survived by: his wife Susan McNeil; his sons, Troy Sweep (Janet) of Clara City, Chad Sweep (Sharon) of St. Cloud and Shaun Sweep of Clara City; his grandchildren, Allison Pauling (Bryan), Alex Sweep (Lindsey), Mandi Ellerbroek (Joel), Maggie Lysfjord (Tony), Justin Sweep (Courtney Struckman), Krista Murphy (Caleb) and John Sweep (Jessica); and his sister Bonnie Miller (Jim). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to Carris Health Hospice or American Cancer Society.
