She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jr. Peters and Mamie Peters (Fokken); her husband Adrian Petersen; her daughter Christine Beyerl; her siblings, Muriel Emmen and Wesley Peters; her brother-in-law William Nelson; and her great grandchild Joshua Petersen.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy Petersen (Sheryl), Vernon Petersen (Junell) of Clara City, Duaine Petersen (Julie) of Hyattville, WY and Laurie Shubert (Bill) of Willmar; her son-in-law Ken Beyerl (Jan) of Clara City; her sister Eloise Nelson of Oregon; and her brother-in-law Leonard Emmen of Coon Rapids. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
