He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Harguth; his children, Angie Thissen of Minneapolis, Troy Thissen (Missy) of Clara City, Stacy Zimmerman (Robert) of Aberdeen, SD and Danielle Guertin (Josh) of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Logan, Jaden, Michael, Grace, Teagan and Ava; and his siblings, Marilyn Hedlund (Dale), Greg Thissen (Joy), Rita Toussaint, Genevieve Tomaino (Ralph), Steven Thissen (Debbie) and Robert Thissen (Shannon).
