He is survived by: his former wives, Nancy Day and Melissa Fischer; his wife Missy; his children, Philip Rhode of Litchfield, Stacy Broberg (Todd) of Renville, Neal Rhode of Sauk Center and Nicole Rhode of Clara City; his grandsons, Riley and Andrew Broberg; and his siblings, Andy Rhode of Clara City, Wayne Rhode (Marilyne) of Clara City, Greg Rhode (Kristie) of Clara City, Marilyne Morisette (Albert) of Osakis and Stan Rhode (Traci) of Clara City. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
