He was predeceased by: his parents, George Klinghagen and Elizabeth Klinghagen (Schroeder); and his siblings, Annie, Clarence, Floyd and Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his children, Doris Zuidema (Arlin) of Spicer, MN, Dennis Klinghagen (Karen) of Roswell, NM and Karen Smith (Jon) of East St; his sister Evelyn Tauber of Olivia, MN; and his sister-in-law Marlys Klinghagen. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one step-granddaughter; twenty great-grandchildren; and two step-great-granddaughters.
