It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Boyd Folkerts of Clara City, Minnesota, who passed away on November 14, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Folkerts and Helen Folkerts (Freiborg); his sisters, Jeanette Freese (Merlin) and Irene Koenen (Orville); and his grandchildren, Shawn Folkerts and Kayla Kleinhuizen.
He is survived by: his wife Minnie Meyer; his children, Larry (Londa) of Glenwood, Verla Manson (Cliff) of Hanska, Dalen Folkerts (Verla) of Prinsburg, Jolene Vander Lugt (Neil) of Renville, Sheila Folkerts (Paul Swartzer) of Clara City and Joel Folkerts (Deb) of Renville; and his brothers, Ernie Folkerts (Mary) of Kerkhoven and Gary Folkerts of Clara City. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
