He was predeceased by: his siblings, Betty, Gordon II (Buster) and Francie; his brother-in-law Rick Kolodziej; and his father-in-law Don Merkel.
He is survived by: his family, John Wayne, Peanut Butter M, M's and Larry; his wife Pam (Rein); his children, Kenny and Wendi; his sister Harriett; his parents, Darlene Merkel and Kenneth Rein (Georgia); and his sister-in-law Barb Fenick. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
