He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Kast; his parents, Frank Kast and Elsie Kast; and his siblings, Elna Baxter, Dorothy Switala, Beverly Wolters, Frank Jr. and Fred.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Bernin, Sue Kast, Connie Baumann (John), Mary Dunlap (Ken), Jim (Denise) and Bob (Audry); and his grandchildren, Jason, Dan, Angie, Dianna, Jimmy, Nick, Becky, Scott, Pat, Jen, Christina, Kayla and Andy. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
