It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Strand of Chokio, Minnesota, who passed away on June 15, 2020, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jergenson and Laura Jergenson; her husband Stanley Strand of Donnelly; her grandson Erik; and her siblings, Mabel, Palma, Lawrence, Arden, Alfred, Conrad, Reuben and Arnold.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Stanley (Linda), Sidney George, Stewart John, David Strand (Margaret), Carole Sundblad (Harlan), Kathleen Sevig (Daniel), Mary Eichen (Tom), George Strand and John Strand (Darlene); her sister Grace; her sisters-in-law, Marge Jergenson, Julette Jergenson and JoAnn Jergenson; and also David. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
