He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Horning and Lillian Horning (Berg); his wife Nancy; his siblings, Don Horning (Marilyn) and Dorothy Simpson (Gene); and his brothers-in-law, Bob Trost and Sig Holme.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Horning (Pearl) of Chokio, Deb Farwell, Pat Needham of Graceville, Jane Ritter (Dan) of Oak Harbor, WA, MaryBeth Stahn (Steve) of Waconia, John Horning (Maria) of Everett, WA, Linda Staebler (Steve) of Starbuck and Christiane; his siblings, Wally Horning (Peggy) of Chokio, Ted Horning (Adrienne) of Chokio, Curt Horning (Janna), Marilyn Trost of Fergus Falls, Sharon Sundquist (Don) of Vonore, TN and Judy Rethmeier (Ken) of Loveland, CO; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Holme of New London and Judy Swanson (Keith) of Hoffman. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
