With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Benson (Chokio, Minnesota), who passed away on February 9, 2020 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Benson and Doris Benson (Liehberg); his son Rawdon Hawkinson; and his brothers, Jim and Dave Benson.

He is survived by: his children, Matthew Benson (Samantha) of Fargo, ND and Whitney Evans (Jacob Wilson) of Red Oak, Texas; and his grandchildren, Vianna Benson and Jayden Wilson. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
