He is survived by: his wife Karen Claassen of Chokio; his son Brad Claassen (Stacy) of Maple Grove; his grandsons, Brandon Claassen of Monticello and Zachary Claassen of St. Peter; his siblings, Bill Claassen (Lois), Leroy Claassen (Dody), Elmer Claassen (Geanne), Jim Claassen (Liane), Helen McNally and Lorraine Smith; his siblings-in-law, Vernon Armstrong (Shirley), John Armstrong (Phyllis), Jim Armstrong (Sue) and Cheryl Estenson (Monroe); and his niece Peggy Suess (Ray).
