He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Picht and Thelma Picht (Weedman); his son Edward Earl Picht; his siblings, Earl (Picht) and Lola Phelps; and his stepfather Edward Blume.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nissen of Hancock; his sons, Wayne Picht (Terri) of Chokio and Wesley Picht of Chokio; his grandchildren, Jared, Cody, Tucker, Tierra, Wyatt and Madison; his great grandchildren, Ayden, Easton, Owen and Rigley; and his siblings, Larry Picht and Carol Rohloff (Kenneth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
