With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Taimi Orvokki Johnson of Chisholm, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Jules Johnson; her son Bruce Alvin Johnson; her parents, Oscar Kamunen and Nellie Kamunen; and her siblings, Bertha Maki, Martha Kyllonen, Laila Lindquist (Imberg), Siiri Packa, Minerva Imberg, Herbert, Tero, Armas and Valo Kamunen.

She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Cheryl Mae Johnson of Apple Valley; her daughter-in-law Theressa Johnson of Chisholm; and her grandsons, Adam and Michael Johnson of Chisholm. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A reception will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Range Funeral Home (911 16th St N, Virginia, MN 55792).
