He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Smoltz and Virginia Smoltz (Corradi). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Deb Sanders (Smoltz) and Jim Smoltz (Kim); his grandchildren, Zack Sanders, Shelby Sanders and Madison Smoltz; and his siblings, Barbara (Smoltz) and Hukka (Gary).
