He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hill and Ethel Hill (Frasa); his siblings, Jack and Joan Wermager; his nieces, Connie and Debra Mickelson; and his brother-in-law Lawrence Mickelson.
He is survived by: his sister Beverly Mickelson of Biwabik; his niece Bonnie Mickelson of Virginia; his nephew Matthew Mickelson of Biwabik; his great-nephews, Lee (Paige Long) and Luke Mickelson; his niece-in-law Deanna Mickelson of Biwabik; and also Freya Mickelson.
Survivors include his sister, Beverly Mickelson of Biwabik; niece and nephew, Bonnie Mickelson of Virginia and Matthew Mickelson of Biwabik; two great-nephews whom he adored: Lee (Paige Long) and Luke Mickelson; seven month old great-great niece, Freya Mickelson who George was unable to meet due to COVID19; and niece-in-law, Deanna Mickelson of Biwabik.
