With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George M. Miks (Chisholm, Minnesota), born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on May 16, 2019 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George M. Miks to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John G. Miks and Teresa Ursula Miks (Svete); his wife Geraldine M. Rosenberger of So; his children, Laura Furst (Keith), George E. Miks (Stephanie) and Susan Miks; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Evan Furst, Sheldon and Makayla Miks; and his siblings, John, Bernard Miks, Veronica Miks-Feiner MD and Stephen Miks. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in his name to either the Evans Scholars Foundation of Minnesota or Planned Parenthood of Minnesota.
