He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Hilma; and his siblings, Marcella, Marvin, Milton and Michael.

He is survived by: his nieces, Carol (Eric) and Mary (Herb); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mark, Sarah-Ann, Angel, Jacy, Preston, Jolena, Jenica, Pierre and Porter; and also, Donavin, Aliyah, Jr., Asia, Ziana, Janila Javell, Aniya, Zaria, Nevaeh, Alayjah, Jaziah, Ariel, Malayah and P. J..
