She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Axelson and Tekla Axelson; her husband Alfred Heichel; and her siblings, Della Schon, Jocelyn Hauble and Clifford Axelson.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Imber (Larry) of Orinda, CA, Greg Heichel of Fountain City, WI, Jelene Heichel of Cedar Park, TX, Galen Heichel (Kathy) of Dakota, MN and Becky Vestal (Steve) of Ft. Wayne, IN; her grandchildren, Sonya, Eva, Tadd, Andy, Emily and Kasey; and her great grandchildren, Marlie, Cullen, Charlie, Bohman and Frannie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
