We bid farewell to William Jones Wright of Chatfield, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 11, 2025 at the age of 94. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wright and Olive Wright; his wife Mary Jean; and his daughter-in-law Sandra Wright. He is survived by: his children, Paul of Chatfield, Bill (Cindy) of Chatfield, Deb (Jim) of Eyota, Dale of Iowa and Tracey Pagel (Richard) of Stewartville. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chatfield United Methodist Church (124 Winona St SE, Chatfield, MN 55923).
