He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen and Laura Allen (Mohlke); and his parents-in-law, Arthur and Gertrude Sabatke. He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae; his siblings, Norman Allen, Helen Mercer (Wally) and Lois Cramer (Ed); his daughter-in-law Cathy Allen; his children, Diane Stark (Buell), Phillip Allen, Susan Amundson (Gary), Myron Allen (Kristi), Marletta Cyphers (Mike), Roger Allen (Denise), Paul Allen (Celia), Gene Allen (Kati), Sharon VanDeWalker (Cory) and Shirley Erickson (Rob); and his parents-in-law, Donald Sabatke (Carol), Phyllis Quandt (Orville) and Kenneth Sabatke (Marlene). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
The family prefers memorials to Chatfield Lutheran Church.
