He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Heitmann (Eric) of Winter Garden, FL; his grandchildren, Chase, Jaxon and Truett; and his siblings, Roger Koenig (Priscilla) of St. Charles, Patricia of St. Charles, Tom Koenig of Stockton and Karen Koenig (Janice Benton) of Turlock, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
