He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. and Millie W. Wert Sr. (Langer); his sister Carol; his brother-in-law Willard Thiemann; his parents-in-law, Carl Ude and Leona Ude Lindquist; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Ude.
He is survived by: his wife Marcella Wert of Chaska; his sons, Michael (Sheri Wert) and Steven (Lynn Wert); his grandsons, Stephen Wert (Kara), Gregory Wert (Jaclynn) and Steven Wert; and his nephew Larry Thiemann (Marge). He is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
