He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Velcheck and Phyllis Velcheck (Hastreiter); and his siblings, Barbara Woods, Sue Fischer and Daniel Velcheck.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Carson and Connor; his wife Patricia; his children, Jason Velcheck (Pam), Carson of Eden Prairie, MN and Jennifer Danicich; his granddaughter Anna; his son Connor of Victoria, MN; and his siblings, Rosemary Velcheck, Arnoldeen Velcheck, Mark Velcheck (Paulette) and Mari Knight.
