It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharann Patricia McCalley of Chaska, Minnesota, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Sharann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John II and Patricia Heimkes; and her brother Jim Himkes. She is survived by: her husband Richard McCalley Jr.; her children, Gretchen (Marcelo Fagundes) of Savage, Matthew (Melissa) of Lester Prairie and Joseph (Jamie) of Chanhassen; her stepfather Grover E. Blayney II of Orlando, FL; and her siblings, John III Heimkes (Shari) of Coon Rapids, Lorrie Heimkes (Mark Hoagland) of Aitkin and Mark Heimkes (Julie) of Alabama. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Huber Funeral Home, Eden Prairie Chapel (16394 Glory Ln, Eden Prairie, MN 55344). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Huber Funeral Home (16394 Glory Ln, Eden Prairie, MN 55344).
