He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Jacobson and Alfhild Jacobson; and his siblings, Gunhild Solberg (Kjell), Hjordis Dickinson (James) and Sigurd Jacobson.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie (Esther); his children, Eric (Sandy) and Laurie (John Bagster); his grandchildren, Tyler (Laura), Spencer (Samantha), Eric Bagster and Kellie Bagster; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Cole, Eli and Owen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and sister-in-law.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Huber Funeral Home Excelsior Chapel (520 2nd St, Excelsior, MN 55331). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
