Though Owen Anthony may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his parents, Corey Macik and Kelly Macik; his sister Claire; and his grandparents, Loane, Joyce Burau, Myron and Becky Macik.
In lieu of flowers, the Macik family suggests memorials sent in Owen's honor to the Children's Cancer Research Fund (Attn: Donor Services, Re: Owen Macik, 1650 W 82nd St., Suite 400, Minneapolis, MN 55431) to support pediatric cancer research and aid other families facing similar battles.
